The turning of the year is a time of fierce remembrance for those of us who still carry living memories of John O’Donohue. His birthday and the anniversary of his death fall in the first days of the dawning year.
This year, it seems appropriate to share the blessing, “Beannacht”, which he wrote for his mother Josie after his father’s death and which he renamed “Blessing for a New Year” in his final work (To Bless The Space Between Us/Benedictus).
